Senior Capital Markets Micro Analyst with participation in earnings
The company
A small holding group engaged in long-term investments in different tranches of the capital structure (mainly in public, western world companies) and to a minor extent in short-term positions. The trading is made from the group own resources and not for customers.
On top of the above mentioned activity, the group holds the controlling share of a small Israeli investment house & provides analyst support to its funds.
Job description
The first stage of the job will include taking responsibility for analyzing the different sectors, sub-sectors and companies in the shipping industry, tracking the developments, finding opportunities and inefficiencies. To a minor extent, the analyst will also have to provide general analyst support to the investment house.
The second stage of the job will include initiating trading ideas and execution of those ideas, with involvement in investment decision making and will have participation in earnings derived from this activity.
After proficiency and success in the first and second stages, additional responsibility is possible to provide coverage of other sectors as well.
Job Requirements
Fluent English
5 years of experience as a security analyst (not macro analyst)
Preference for CPA
Experience in Access and Bloomberg
The office is in Netanya area
