The Role
The Mobile Marketing Manager will be responsible for launching and effectively managing a substantial Marketing budget to maximize Mobile sales and achieve aggressive targets on ROI traffic based buys. You will report to the CEO and work closely with acquisition, customer retention, product and conversion teams. Key objectives will be to drive Mobile App install (Download) campaigns across all Mobile OS's & devices in tandem with driving sales through the Mobile optimized monetization tools. You must have excellent knowledge of the Mobile landscape, proven experience in direct-response performance marketing, superior analytical skills, and possess a blend of technical and business savvy.
Specific areas of responsibility include:
• Mass Mobile App download campaigns
• Mobile SEO
• Mobile PPC
• Mobile Display (including in-app advertising and retargeting)
• A/B Testing (Landing pages, user journeys, offers, pricing, etc.)
• ASO (App Store Optimization) a bonus but not essential
• Campaign Integration, working closely with Social / customer retention team to ensure integrated campaign execution
• Media Owner Management, build and maintain external marketing relationships. Work with various Mobile ad-networks / publishers, make spend allocations based on learnings, and push suppliers to perform thorough optimizations, new products or different buying models.
Targets and Budget: Manage budgets and forecast performance. Adopt a strong ROI-focused approach for all marketing activities to optimize effectiveness and efficiency against targets.
Testing and Analysis: Lead test-and-learn efforts, adopting a hypothesis-driven approach, gather and analyze data in a rigorous statistical manner, and uncover insights to optimize marketing efforts and inform future testing. Build attribution modelling into any analysis to justify marketing spend.
Desirable Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in Marketing analytics, account management, direct response media buying within Mobile marketing field
• Mobile advertising / Mobile landscape knowledge
• Proficiency with online tracking / reporting systems
• Proven hands-on campaign management working towards ROI / CPA targets
• Excellent analytical skills with advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
• Demonstrated experience in modeling, analysis, research, and presentation creation
• Aptitude to operate and thrive in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment
• A professional 'get it done' attitude and work ethic
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Communications, Mathematics, Economics or a related field of study
