The Senior System Software Engineer will lead the SW design, architecture and Implementation in all aspect of our product: Development environment, GUI, Algorithm modules breakdown and interfaces' and future commercial App design, capable of quickly resolving IT issues, maintain network and code revisions.
Position Deliverables
Responsible for design, implementation and maintenance of software applications.
Development in one or two of the following areas: web client applications (Javascript/AMD, Backbone), back-end server applications (Java), apps for Android/iOS (Java/Objective-C) and databases(SQL).
Initiate and participate in improvements, both in our products and in our ways of working.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor or Master of Science within Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar.
Proficiency in Java programming, object oriented programming, design patterns and software testing.
3-5 years experience as a software developer.
Very good communication skills and good written and spoken English.
Other valuable experiences
Software development for large-scale web services, preferably Amazon Web Services.
Database development, preferably with SQL or similar.
Client side web interfaces containing components of JavaScript or similar.
Software development for Android and iOS.
Open source projects.
Agile methods.
