PHP/ Full Stack Developer for a Great Beit Shemesh Start Up

A Beit Shemesh startup in the health space is looking to add a highly talented Full Stack / PHP developer to our awesome team building a Laravel/Symfony based Project.

You should have, at a minimum, a passing familiarity with the entire webstack. We don't
require too much experience in any particular technology, but you should have a collection of cool projects.
You must be:
●Responsible: Able to work without someone standing over your shoulder.
●Inquisitive: willing to learn new techniques and technologies
●Adaptable: new situations happen
●A good person.

You should know
●How to follow coding standards.
●How to make your code readable.
●How to explain your code.
●How to decide the best solution to a problem.
●What Agile Software Development is. (Google it if not)
●What MVC means. (Google this too)

Tools we use daily:
●Slack
●Git (we use Gitlab)
●Gulp
●Pivotal Tracker

As a full-stack developer, you should be able to handle both PHP and reasonable amounts of
the latest JS, HTML and CSS features and be able to build cross-browser sites.

You must know the following well:
●PHP
●JavaScript (Yes, we mean vanilla JS)
●CSS
●HTML
●jQuery

You should know the following:
●At least one PHP framework such as Zend, Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony or similar
●OOP Features of PHP 5.3 - 5.6 (Go and google if not.)
●CSS3
●HTML5

Big Advantage: (we will teach you if you don't):
●Any version control software: we use Git
●Any CSS preprocessor: we use Stylus
●CoffeeScript or ES6
●MV* JS: Backbone.js, Angular.js, or Ember.js
●Have working knowledge of W3C standards for web development.
●Composer
●FaceBook / Twitter API
●What these are: PSR-0, PSR-1, and PSR-2.

Fluent English required
1-3 years experience
